Maintenance - 2nd Shift

The Maintenance Technician at FALK is responsible for care of the facilities and optimization and repair of production line, by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining all production equipment.

FALK Panel is a producer and supplier of premium Insulated Metal Panels for Industrial, Commercial, Agricultural, and Residential building needs. DUTIES:

Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all systems, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical.
Complete preventative maintenance work orders i.e. greasing, cleaning, and rebuilding components
Repair machine malfunctions in a timely manner
Work safely
Research new ideas, train operators, and install improvements to increase production efficiency
Maintain facilities
Any other duties, as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

You will be working in a brand new, natural light filled, state-of-the-art facility in Walker, Michigan
This is a professional position with physically active involvement with manufacturing processes and presence within the facility.
The environment can become quite warm, working around certain areas of the machinery and ovens.
Does get warm in the summer months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Schedule:

Monday-Friday
8 hour shift
10 hour shift
Overtime
2nd Shift - $2/hr Shift Differential

Highschool diploma or equivalent
2 year Degree from Technical school with a focus on Mechanical or Electrical fields (preferred)
2+ years of experience in mechanical and or electrical fields
Blueprint and schematic reading (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic)
Preventative maintenance
Industrial electrical
Industrial Controls
PLC Programming (Siemens) (Preferred)
Welding and metal fabrication (Preferred)
Ability to instruct operators on machine functions and optimization
Ability to motivate and organize teams to repair machine malfunctions
Ability to communicate technical problems and procedures clearly
Understanding of OSHA guidelines
Ability to troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems, photo eyes, limit switches, solenoids, control components, valves, regulators, vacuum systems, and conveyor belts, etc.
