And the finish plays a crucial role in this. We understand this at FALK, which is precisely why we launched the design profiles. Profiles that allow your building to tell the story you have in mind.
The FALK Design profiles are customised steel profiles that are added to the exterior of insulated panels or other structures. You can choose from a range of standard profiles or design your own profile.
FALK Design profiles
FALK Design profiles have been developed to give your building a distinctive look. The profiles, made from steel sheets, are custom-made by our own sheet metal workshop. Here, profiles can be made to a length of up to 10 metres.
FALK Design profiles and the FALK Carrier System
A (single) steel profile sheet has no insulating effect. That is why the profiled sheets are often used in combination with the insulated panels of FALK. First, the insulated panel is attached to the substructure, and then the FALK Profiles are attached to it. This system is also known as the carrier system. So you actually combine the advantages of both products and give your building some extra appeal.
By using, for example, the FALK 1000 TR wall carrier or the FALK 1100 TR3+ wall carrier, a significant step towards sustainability can be taken. The crowns of the trapezoidal panel function as spacers from the original wall. This means that the FALK Profiles can be screwed directly onto the profiled sheet. The omega can therefore be omitted.
FALK Design profiles, aesthetic construction
With its design profiles, FALK demonstrates that industrial construction can also be aesthetic. It is the art of combining. Whether you choose a sleek micro profile or a robust block profile, FALK Design profiles give your project just that little bit extra.
The models we have developed are all distinctive profiles, consisting of five families, each with three variations. By combining the different variations, a varied look can be created in new construction and renovation projects. This is certainly also because most design profiles can be used both horizontally and vertically. Most profiles can also be used on both roofs and walls. With FALK Design profiles, you can transform a building into a true work of art. Within the five families of design profiles, we offer the following:
FALK Cadence
The FALK Cadence profile is a beautiful combination of the point profile and thetrapezoidal profile. Up to three types of FALK Cadence profiles can be alternated. This gives the wall a very unique look that will amaze many.
The choice of colour and coatings will largely determine the overall look. If you go for Seren Copper or FALK Black Matt, for example, the building will get a completely different look. Either way, you're always in for a surprise!
The FALK Spike is the profile that creates the most exciting wall appearance. Various points alternate, creating a lively image on the wall. By rotating the profiles, the image can be tilted. The so-called “sawtooth” can therefore run from left to right and from right to left. A beautiful coupling profile has been developed for this purpose, which smoothly bridges the whole.
The FALK Spike will create a very bold and architectural look, in which colour is the determining factor. We are happy to help you with this.
The FALK Pyramid is based on the classic pointed profile. A pointed profile that can be applied to the wall as an architectural element. The FALK Pyramid profile is available in three styles that can be alternated. This creates a pointed rhythm in which high and low profiles alternate. Note also the tip, which is only 14 mm high. This gives the wall a different light effect, creating a unique look.
The FALK Block profile is characterised by a repeating pattern of 90-degree angles. We designed this profile specifically for aesthetic purposes. With three versions available, the possibilities are endless. The FALK Block is chosen to create a specific look or atmosphere inside or outside a building. It emphasises the geometric shape to an extreme degree, creating a sense of calm. The steel FALK Block profile is available in all the coatings that FALK has to offer.
The FALK Planc has the same warm appearance as a traditional plank wall. This profile translates the charm of wood into sustainable architecture. Clean lines, refined detailing and contemporary performance come together in this profile. The FALK Planc consists of three profiles. These three profiles offer endless variety. In addition, the planks can also be used upside down, allowing for many different designs.
Of course, we can also supply the finishing touches for the FALK Design profiles. Window sills, connection details, corner pieces. We can produce them all in the same colour as the DALK Design profiles. In addition to this “standard” set work, we can also customise profiles.
