Insulated panels are prefabricated building products or panels consisting of two steel sheets with a PIR insulation core between them. Insulated panels enable you to quickly construct a wind- and watertight building.
Insulated panels have a high insulation value, allowing you to insulate your project effectively. The panels fit together tightly, ensuring excellent airtightness. Insulated panels also offer very good fire resistance. Steel insulated panels are available in various panel shapes and over 100 colours. This makes the insulated panel a versatile solution suitable for any project.

As already mentioned, insulated panels are highly versatile. Our insulated panels are available as roof panels for pitched roofs, as well as for flat roofs. We also offer wall panels, carrier panels and partition wall panels. In the past, insulated panels were widely used in the agricultural sector for the construction of barns and stables. Nowadays, we see these panels being used extensively for the new build or renovation of all other types of buildings. Examples include non-residential construction, cold storage facilities and residential construction. Within these sectors, it is vital to build quickly and ensure effective insulation.
Insulated panels are the perfect product for easily creating an insulated roof. Thanks to their high insulation value and quick installation, insulated panels are the ideal roofing material. Insulated roof panels are available in various shapes.
FALK introduced the insulated corrugated panel to the Netherlands many years ago. This panel resembles the traditional corrugated sheet, but is a durable steel variant that therefore lasts much longer. In addition, FALK offers two further types of trapezoidal roof panels. All these panels are suitable for use on roofs and walls. The sandwich roof and wall panels also provide a perfect base for supporting accessories such as solar panels or sedum. Discover the versatility of FALK’s products here.
As well as insulated panels for roofs, FALK also supplies an extensive range of insulated panels for walls. A wall can be easily clad with FALK’s insulated panels. With an RC value of up to 10.5, you can achieve the desired insulation level for every wall.
The most popular insulated panels for walls are fixed invisibly. This type, the FALK 1060 WB, is available in no fewer than 7 different patterns that can be combined with one another. A wall using insulated panels can be installed quickly. FALK delivers the building materials perfectly tailored to the site, ensuring your project is quickly made wind- and watertight. Wall panels are available in over 100 different colours and even in several wood-effect finishes.
As well as forming a perfect building envelope, insulated panels also serve as excellent supports for accessories that can be fitted to them. When an insulated panel is used to support an accessory, we refer to it as a carrier panel.
Despite the light weight of the carrier panels, they can still support considerable loads, provided they are fitted correctly. An additional advantage of these load-bearing panels is that they absorb the first rays of sun or the initial chill. This ensures a comfortable temperature inside.
FALK manages the production of insulated panels in-house. This means we work daily to produce affordable insulated panels that allow you to insulate your project whilst offering significant aesthetic benefits. As well as focusing on cost-effective insulated panels, FALK is constantly committed to sustainability. The finest example of this is the launch of the CradleCore® insulation core, which makes us the only manufacturer in the world working towards a significant reduction in environmental impact.
To give a building a neat finish, a wide variety of accessories is available for insulated panels. Various windows and doors are available that fit perfectly with the insulated panel. Fitting strips are used to neatly finish the drip edges, roof caps and other edges. We also refer to these as ‘fittings formed from flat sheet metal’. A good example of this is the U-profile. Another example of accessories for our products is our daylight solutions. (Day)light contributes to the health of both people and animals. That is why we offer both insulated and non-insulated light panels and cassettes in the same shape as our panels. These fit seamlessly with the FALK range.
FALK insulated panels are available in almost every colour imaginable. In most cases, the exterior skin is finished with a high-quality coating manufactured by Tata Steel (Colorcoat HPS200 Ultra® or Colorcoat Prisma®); the standard finish for the interior skin is FALK Off-White. This is similar to RAL 9002. But you can also select your own colour from the colour library. Discover all our colours on this page. Here you can also request a colour sample!
All of our insulation roofing panels are also available in a version for façades. This way, you can continue your chosen look literally from top to bottom. Browse all our façade panels here.
FALK is the first manufacturer in the world to offer a circular insulated panel. We only have one planet, so we need to use its natural resources wisely. A choice for a FALK insulated roof panel with CradleCore® insulation is a choice for recycling. CradleCore® is a guarantee that we will recycle those panels in the future. This way, raw materials will be available for future generations and you will achieve significant environmental benefits! We have quantified these in an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD). FALK insulated roof panels are available with a cutback; this is a standard production option. You can choose the length of the cutback yourself, which generally varies between 25mm and 300mm.
With a FALK insulated flat roof panel, you can seal and insulate 25m2 of roof in a single crane operation. Simply apply a light-coloured EPDM or PVC membrane and you have a wind and watertight flat roof. A traditional roofing system often consists of four or more layers.
If you don’t work with insulated panels on a daily basis, we can imagine it might be difficult to choose the right panel. Please feel free to contact FALK for advice, with no obligation. Whether you’re looking for panels for roofs or walls, we’re always happy to help you find the right solution. We’re also happy to advise you on sustainability and grants.
