Amsterdam is steeped in the architecture of Pierre Cuypers. Both the Rijksmuseum and Amsterdam Central Station were designed by him and serve as the inspiration for the Cityline profile FALK Amsterdam. The familiar lines and shapes of these iconic buildings are reflected in three unique design profiles.
Together, the three profiles create a varied and distinctive facade with a characteristic Amsterdam look. With the FALK Amsterdam design profile, you can give your building a wall that tells its own architectural story. Given the architectural flexibility of this design profile, it is a must-have in FALK’s Cityline Design Profiles range.
The FALK Amsterdam design profile is available in three different types. These can be combined with one another. The FALK Amsterdam 1 is the basic profile in the series. Various trapezoidal crowns and pointed profiles alternate. This variety highlights the architectural freedom offered by this design profile. The FALK Amsterdam 2 is a variation on the basic profile. Its varied pattern creates a diverse play of shadows. The FALK Amsterdam 3 is another variation that creates significant shading on the wall. By alternating the three FALK Amsterdam profiles, a varied wall appearance is created.
The pointed profiles can be mounted horizontally or vertically, ideally on a FALK insulated carrier panel.
